Advantages of an Administration Order

Taking out an Administration Order is a great way to take control of your finances. The court understands the financial implications of debt as well as the stress that comes with it.

Taking out an Administration Order stops creditors from contacting you and in some cases harassing you for the money you owe them. Endless phone calls, letters and personal visits from debt collectors should all stop immediately once you have taken out an order. Your creditor's main point of contact would then be with the County Court who will deal with your debts on your behalf.

Interest and Charges Frozen

Aside from saving you the time and stress of dealing with creditors, an Administration Order can actually save you money. You will no longer have to pay interest on your debts and creditors such as banks aren't allowed to place further charges for missed payments. This is a great lifeline as many people in debt become so swamped in interest fees and charges that they end up simply paying this off without ever reaching the original debt.

No Set-Up Fee

Unlike other forms of debt management such as bankruptcy, an Administration Order is free to set up. The court will, however, charge a 10% handling fee which is deducted from your monthly payments.

Less Debt Stress

Administration Orders take the stress out of debt and are highly recommended as a way of dealing with your finances. The time and money you will save from compiling your debts into one single payment is certainly worth considering, especially when there are no upfront costs.
